A good nursery experience can help children learn to love God. At First Church of Worship and Praise, we sow seeds of God’s love in our children from birth to three years of age by singing and doing basic activities to meet their needs. Age appropriate videos are shown, Bible stories are read, coloring sheets are done, and a snack is offered. We take the natural curiosity of a toddler and direct them towards the things of God.
Christ’s Anointed Disciples Entering Training & Service 4-7 yrs old. At this age level children are learning so much about who they are. Our teachers help to nurture and encourage the children’s faith in Jesus Christ and the Word of God. This is done with age appropriate lessons, activity sheets, crafts, music, games, and snacks. Each activity engages the children to learn one important truth about God and His Word. It is our desire to lay a strong foundation in the hearts of our children.
The Standing With Authority & Truth Team class (8-10 yrs old) is designed to continue to encourage the children to have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The children are taught the importance of prayer, fellowship and studying the Word of God. We use age appropriate lessons designed to engage them to develop their faith, and build strong friendships with others.
Our junior’s class is design for ages 11-13yrs old. The goal of this class is to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. Teach them to be doers of the Word and not hears only. It’s also a place where they can praise God in their spirit, soul and body and learn social and leadership skills through biblical principles that will prepare them for the future.
