First Church of Worship and Praise is a nondenominational Church located in Pontiac Michigan serving the Pontiac area since 1985.  It is a place where people can feel free to come and worship God in Spirit and in Truth and leaving religion outside. We are dedicated to furthering of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

First Church of Worship and Praise’s mission is to proclaim to the good news of Jesus Christ and to serve and give honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our doors are open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of whom they are and where they are on their spiritual journey.

Our church is lead by Evangelist Mark Terry who continues to take the message of God’s saving and healing power to the people of Michigan by following the commandment he gave in Matt 28:19-20 “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. “

First Church of Worship and Praise carries the message that “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

First Church of Worship and Praise Mission

•    To serve and give honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ
•    To preach and teach from the Holy Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.
•    To win souls to God through Jesus Christ.
•    To have a place for people to come and worship God.
•    To establish Christian education for our members and to train and qualify people called of God to go into ministry.
•    To train and establish leaders that are qualified to train others.
•    To establish places for the young that will train them to grow up into leaders that will please God.
