In The Morning

In the morning when you first wake up, what do you do? Do you acknowledge God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit? Many people acknowledge God the Father and God the Son, but not God the Holy Spirit. He is a person; a part of the Godhead. When Jesus ascended back to heaven. He promised to send the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth. (John 14:16) “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever.” (AMP)

The Holy Spirit is Omnipresence (present everywhere), Omniscient (all Knowing), and Omnipotent (all powerful). He is the power of God working in us to convict us of sin, to lead us to repentance, to give us assurance of salvation, and to impart the peace of God to us. In order to receive this power we have to establish a relationship with Him. Let Him be your constant companion, be sensitive to His voice, and acknowledge Him in all you do.

How would you feel if in the morning those whom you live with didn’t Speak or acknowledge you? Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit. Remember, He is a person living inside of you, to love you, to help you and to guide you throughout the day.
