Gifts Are Different

When one accepts Jesus Christ as their own personal LORD and Savior, that one becomes a child of the “Most High God.” Each child is given gifts to edify the “Body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12) “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

Just as we are all different, our gifts are different. But each gift is needed to build and strengthen the “body.” One person cannot do it alone, and neither can one gift do it. We are all needed to do the work of God. No gift can be compared to another, and no gift is more important than another. God has given us all gifts so that we can work together to build the “Body of Christ.” (Romans 12:4-6a) “For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function (gifts).’ v5) “So we, being many are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.’ v6a) “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them.”

Now is the time to activate your gifts. Seek God to find out what your gifts are, and start walking in them. Remember, no matter how unimportant you may feel, God uses our gifts for His glory.
