The Most Glorious Time

We are celebrating the most glorious time of the year; the celebration of the Birth of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. While the world is rushing around buying gifts, and preparing for this “Christmas Day,” let us stop for a moment to think about the most valuable and greatest gift we received over 2000 years ago; a gift that is more precious than silver or gold; a gift of love. God showed his love by giving us “grace” (something we don’t deserve), and “mercy” (not giving us what we deserve). John 3:16, 17 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” v17) “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” He took our sins upon Himself, and shed His blood so that we can be forgiven. He took our sickness and disease so that we can be healed and made whole. He gave His life so that we can live. What a “Gift” of love! This Christmas as you wrap your gifts, remember to give thanks for the greatest “Gift” we received; our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

I wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS
