Sowing and Reaping

The mind is like a farmer’s garden. What you sow is what you harvest or reap. (Galatians 6:7) “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap”
Think of your thoughts as seeds; when you think good thoughts you sow seeds of goodness, and you will reap a good harvest; when you think evil thoughts you sow seeds of evilness, and you will reap an evil harvest; when you sow positive seeds you reap a positive harvest, and when you sow negative seeds you reap a negative harvest. Some thoughts become flowers, and some become weeds. It all depends on what you sow in your mind, whether good or evil; positive or negative, the results you get are what you sow in. We have to renew our minds daily with thoughts of love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, patience, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. (The “Fruit of the Spirit”) Paul tells the Philippians to think on these things, “Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure whatever things are lovely and whatever things are of a good report. If there is any virtue and if there is anything praise worthy, meditate or think on these things.” (Fix your mind on these things)
So today, let’s change our way of thinking, and think good and positive thoughts.
